During the month of October Paddy’s Autoworks ran a “Help Us Help Other” food drive. They gave free oil changes in exchange for 10 non-perishable food items or a donation of $15 dollars. The proceeds went to C.O.M.E (Christian Outreach Ministries Etc.) in Quitman. Paddy’s collected a total of $245 and 311 food items. Upon delivering the items to C.O.M.E Mickey Eckhardt, the director, asked “what did they intend for the money to be used for?” Donna Carroll, co-owner of the shop told him “what ever it is needed for. This is a donation to the ministry for the holiday season. We know that there is a need and we wanted to help.” On behalf of Paddy’s Autoworks we would like to thank the community for helping us help others this holiday season.
